1. Introduction
Turizam Tours Ltd operates as a licensed tour and travel company specializing in customized safari experiences across Kenya, Tanzania, and the wider East African region. These Terms govern your use of our website (www.turizamtours.com) and your relationship with Turizam Tours Ltd.
By booking or using any service from Turizam Tours, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing and accompanied by a deposit, as stated in your quotation or invoice.
- The balance of payment is required within the timeframe indicated before the start of your safari or tour.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment platforms, or as otherwise instructed by Turizam Tours.
- Prices quoted are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, park fee adjustments, or unforeseen government taxes.
- A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received and acknowledged by Turizam Tours.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Turizam Tours.
- Refunds are processed based on the timing of cancellation:
- More than 60 days before travel: Full refund less administrative fee.
- 30–59 days before travel: 50% refund of total cost.
- Less than 30 days before travel: No refund.
- No refunds will be made for partially used services or “no shows.”
- In the event of cancellations by Turizam Tours due to circumstances beyond our control, clients will receive a full refund or a credit for a future trip.
4. Travel Insurance
All travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellations, loss of property, and other unforeseen events. Turizam Tours is not responsible for any expenses, losses, or damages not directly caused by our negligence.
5. Alterations to Itineraries
While every effort is made to adhere to published itineraries, Turizam Tours reserves the right to make reasonable changes due to factors such as weather, safety, or operational circumstances. Clients will be informed of significant changes as soon as possible.
6. Safari and Travel Risks
Travel in East Africa may involve risks such as exposure to wildlife, uneven terrain, and varying weather conditions. By booking a safari with Turizam Tours, you acknowledge these risks and agree to participate at your own responsibility.
Turizam Tours shall not be liable for injury, illness, delay, loss, or damage beyond our control.
7. Responsibilities of Clients
Clients are responsible for ensuring:
- Possession of valid passports, visas, and vaccinations required for entry into East African countries.
- Compliance with local laws, customs, and regulations.
- Respectful behavior toward other travelers, staff, and wildlife.
Turizam Tours reserves the right to terminate participation of any traveler who endangers others or disrupts the experience.
8. Limitation of Liability
Turizam Tours acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, transport providers, and other suppliers. We are not responsible for any loss, delay, or damage arising from the actions or omissions of third parties.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service causing a claim.
9. Force Majeure
Turizam Tours shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemics, or government restrictions.
10. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through our website or during the booking process is used only for providing travel services and communication.

11. Intellectual Property
